Children in need

Year 4 had a great day on Friday helping to raise money for Children in need. Apart from paying a donation to come to school dressed in spots, stripes and pyjamas, we also brought buns and cakes in which were sold to raise even more money for this wonderful cause!

In Year 1 we have been learning about the story Peace at Last. Today we have had lots of fun retelling the story using masks, performing it to our friends. We even enjoyed dressing in our pyjamas and having a drink and some toast like the bears do in the story.

Diversity Day - Mexico, Ms Broxup's class

Hola a todos! Hello everyone!

On Friday we have been very busy in Year 3. The children had a fantastic time learning lots of interesting facts about Mexico; in addition they have been involved in a variety of art projects. Even though making sombreros and maracas was very fun, the children loved learning the traditional dance of Mexico called Jarabe Tapatio. We finished the day by tasting some delicious Mexican food.
